Servant Of Christ (DVD)
$14.99As of 2010 there are an estimated 12 million Christians in Korea. Over 100 years ago a seed was planted there that continues to grow today.
In 1866 Welsh missionary to China, Robert Jermain Thomas, sailed up the Taedong River near Pyongyang, dressed in traditional Korean garb and carrying Bibles. The ship Thomas sailed upon, an American vessel, was attacked and the crew was killed. When Thomas came ashore he carried a white flag and a number of Bibles. When a Korean combatant approached him, Thomas reached out to hand the man a Bible just before the soldier brought a sword down upon his neck.
Twenty-four years later. Samuel Moffett, the first full-time missionary to Korea, met many of the people who had contact with Thomas, including the children of his executioner. Several of these Koreans became leaders in the budding Korean Christian movement and witnessed mighty revivals that led to the flourishing of the Gospel in that nation.
Servant of Christ is an enthralling documentary tracing the historical roots of Christianity on the Korean Peninsula.

Welsh Revivals Of 1859 And 1904 (DVD)
$14.99Throughout history there have been times when the light of the Gospel has shone especially bright. The revivals of 1859 and 1904 in Wales stand as powerful examples. Marked by a commitment to prayer and bold preaching for repentance inside and outside of the church, the Welsh revivals “ran through the (Welsh) mountains like fire through thatch,” as one commentator describes it.
During this outpouring of the Spirit, churches were packed, streets were filled with believers singing hymns, and crime rates and drunkenness decreased dramatically. Prayer meeting routinely ran late into the night, and attendees were often seen either crying over their brokenness or shouting for joy at God’s grace as nominalism and dead orthodoxy were replaced by passionate love for Jesus. This phenomenon was highly publicized by the press as the spiritual awakening impacted all of Welsh life.
This documentary traces the origins of the revival, introduces us to its leaders such as Dafydd Morgan and Thomas Charles Edwards, and follows its lasting impact upon the world and on world missions.

Gladys Aylward : The Small Woman With A Great God (DVD)
$19.99Gladys Aylward (1902-1970) may have been small in stature at barely five feet tall, but she was a giant of conviction! Even Hollywood was amazed by her story and made a movie about it, entitled The Inn of the Sixth Happiness.
This fascinating documentary presents the events of Gladys’ life, chronicled by Carol Purves, author of Chinese Whispers: The Gladys Aylward Story and accompanied by photographs, illustrations, and recordings of Gladys’ own voice.
Young Gladys sensed a calling from God to leave London and go to minister in China. She worked as a parlormaid for many years until she had enough money saved for her passage. In 1930, she boarded a train and after many weeks and harrowing situations, she finally reached her destination.
In China she assisted aging missionary Jeannie Lawson. Together they opened an inn for mule drivers and told them stories about Jesus. After Mrs. Lawson died, Gladys began to take in unwanted children, eventually numbering about 100. With Japan invading China full force, Gladys and the 100 children traveled for days on foot across the mountains to safety. Gladys continued her work with children until her death in 1970.
See how this ordinary woman experienced the extraordinary, simply because she said “yes” to God.

1st Fruits (DVD)
$19.99In 1732, two young Moravians left their comfortable community of Hernhut, Germany, convinced that they were called of God to bring the Gospel to the slaves in the West Indies. They went, willing to become slaves if necessary, to minister to these oppressed people. The Moravians pioneered a mission movement characterized by extraordinary commitment. Under the dynamic leadership of Count Nikolaus von Zinzendorf, the Moravians sent out more missionaries in 20 years than all the other Protestant groups had in 200 years. They were driven by two strong convictions: world evangelization is a prime obligation of the church, and every member of the Christian community has this responsibility. First Fruits unfolds the suffering which these young men endured for their missionary zeal and the agony of their community in deciding to send them forth at a time when missions to the heathen masses were unthinkable among Protestants. You will especially marvel over the “first fruits” of their ministry and the impact of their vision on the course of Christian history.
